Reduces strain on neck, shoulders, and arms
Since its release, the Dr. Grip series has established a new category of writing instruments designed to reduce writing fatigue. Developed in collaboration with Professor Yoshida from Tokai University's Department of Design, it focuses on the concept of "easy-to-move writing instruments" based on experimental data related to moment of inertia.
Optimized weight balance
By concentrating weight near the center of gravity, the pen achieves optimal balance, allowing for smooth and precise micro-rotational movements during writing.
Newly developed soft grip
The dual-layer grip, with a harder outer layer and softer inner layer, provides both a stable hold and a comfortable feel. The surface also features a smooth, dry-touch texture.
Equipped with Fure Fure mechanism
Pilot's original Fure Fure mechanism allows the lead to advance simply by shaking the pencil, enabling seamless writing without changing your grip.
This is a mechanical pencil from the "Dr. Grip ~ Campus Collaboration," a project combining two popular brands among students: the "Dr. Grip," known for its fatigue-reducing writing comfort, and the "Campus Notebook," designed to support beautiful handwriting.
The design features a forest motif stylized in a textile-like geometric pattern, accented with small, subtle animals.
By choosing simple, white animal illustrations, the result is a charmingly mature animal-themed design that's easy to incorporate into daily life.
